life change

Andy Harding helped me change my life.

Over the last ten years, I have tried losing weight by going on different diets and by joining several gyms.  I would do well for a couple of months, and then I would fall back into my old patterns.  I fluctuated between 160 and 190 pounds, and felt more defeated each time I failed.  In addition, during those ten years, I had to manage my disease, ulcerative colitis, which caused me to have to be treated with steroids several times when symptoms arose.

When I started with Andy, I weighed 175 pounds.  He came to my house twice a week for an hour and used a variety of fitness tools.  The results speak for themselves.  In the year I have worked with Andy, I have lost 30 pounds.  I have lost 10 centimeters off my chest, 17 centimeters off my waistline and abs, 18 centimeters off my hips, and 19 centimeters off my thighs.  I have decreased my body fat by 10%.

But the measurements don’t tell the whole story.  I can now do the things I want to do.  I can hike with my husband all day in the Peak District and keep up.  I can now try on clothes four sizes smaller than when I started and feel great about how I look in them.  I can proudly say that my ulcerative colitis has not flared up in over a year.  And perhaps most importantly, I can now say that I enjoy exercise.  Andy has even set up a running program for me to train for a half marathon when I move back to the US.

Andy is a wonderful trainer to work with.  He is always encouraging and motivating you to improve.  He is committed to helping you reach your goals.  He has never missed a session, and has worked with me while I’ve had a broken wrist (sledding accident) and after I had my gull bladder removed in emergency surgery.  He’s even trained my brother and mother-in-law with me when they have come to visit from the US.

I am now moving back to the United States, but I will take the lessons Andy has taught me and continue my journey there.  I thank God that I responded to Andy’s advertisement and made the call.  It helped me change my life.
